Underground media gets underground

Just got home from my salsa class, and as usual, I pass around 10.30 through the city center, then take the metro, then a 10 min walk towards home. All well, I was resting on a chair in the metro with my iPod screaming in my ears when my eyes, pointing randomly inside the wagon ran into a strange-looking sticker on one door – it just said “Diabet problems? Call 0788…” but exactly like that, just typed on a white sticker and placed there. Smiled to myself at the person behind that, and to how I was exposed to a message that didn’t need any budget, or creative development, no ad or media agency. I looked around, and saw that it was the only one around. But then I saw a young men, student-looking, with a backpack that was just sticking another ad, but different, on another door :) I wanted to take a pic, but had to descend.

Just wondered – is there a group of young people doing this stuff, organized, or was it an isolated case? Hope it’s not one of those projects done by a certain media agency, when you first execute the innovative media stuff, then think to ask for approvals :) )))))
